So you 100% should bring outerwear that is weather resistant to some extent. I checked the forecast before going and I was a fool to believe that my jackets would suffice in 50 degrees in England, without even an umbrella. Today I am bringing in friend and expert, Erin Treloar, to discuss what some are calling the new Buzz word for health in wellness, that is, Intuitive Eating. For years I struggled with fad diets, over eating, under eating, but more than anything the emotional turmoil and shame that come along with that very unhealthy cycle. The greatest lesson I have learned through my own self love journey and gaining a better relationship with food is that it has nothing to do with control or perfection and everything to do with shifting my mind set.

A few weeks ago I was catching up with my girlfriend Sierra, who I met on the show last year. She recently sent me her new song and then followed up with a call and a crazy idea! I am big on New Year’s Goals but I think that’s because I am big on goals in general and love any opportunity to set a new one! Setting goals is a great way to stay motivated, trigger new habits and gain momentum in life. Boy, 2022 was one hell of a ride. I don’t think it can be wrapped up into just one emotion or experience but overall I feel incredibly grateful for the highs and lows that have made me into exactly who I am today. I am always looking for how I can grow and become better despite a painful circumstance. I want to be vulnerable and share some behind the scenes with you guys on this blog post. Several weeks ago I got a DM from Justin Glaze… but it wasn’t THAT kind of DM. He was in need of a videographer for a project and hit up the official bachelor nation neighborhood videographer, yours truly. Well, I happened to be coming up to DC the very next weekend and we agreed that would be the perfect opportunity for me to pop up into Charm City and make his vision come to life.

I cooked my brother his favorite meal for his birthday… Okay as you can tell from this video my family doesn’t have complete faith in me to cook a delicious meal unsupervised so I recruited my dad to help me out! I think the problem with my cooking abilities is that I always try to make everything healthy, with no real reference of what is actually replaceable in a recipe.

So I am spending about a week in LA, just checking out the scene before I decide if this is a place I am wanting to call home. I typically have spent most of my Holiday time on the East Coast. I mean when I think about Christmas, I always think of NYC, snow, hot chocolate, cold and cozy vibes. So this week I am putting LA to the test!

I love a good holiday party! Getting together with friends, an excuse to dress up, charcuterie boards and I don’t know about you but I LOVE a good mulled wine. This weekend, I’ll be attending a little Holiday Soiree in LA. My good friend Alyssa, who I lived with for two years in Japan is throwing a semi-formal party and I’m so excited to be attending… I may even have a cute date for it and maybe we are planning to coordinate outfits…
