West Coast Presets
I am so beyond excited to share with you guys my very first presets! My intention behind these was to have fun and share an easy way to give your photos an edgy and fun upgrade. I have been known to carry around a disposable camera which is very much the vibe of these presets. Then a few weeks ago when I had a group of friends over for a pizza party, I shared a few of the images and got so many replies asking about the filter!
What’s in My Camera Bag
One of my most asked questions, “What camera do you use?” Here’s the tea, I am a Canon girl through and through. I’ve tried Sony and I’ve tried Panasonic but my home lies in Canon. I have so much love for Sony, FujiFilm and I genuinely even love my Panasonic GH5 for what it does for me but nothing will compete with my current head camera. The bread and butter of my camera bag is my Canon R5 and the 35 mm prime lens.
Shopping With Brands That Are Doing Good in the World
Have you ever heard the quote, “You vote with your dollar.” It’s one of my all time favorites! I think about it every time I make an ethical or unethical purchase. I know that where I spend my money matters. If I spend my money intentionally, it can contribute to making this world a better place. Here are some brands that are giving back to the world and can make you feel good knowing that your purchase at their store is contributing something positive back into the world.
Holiday Party Outfits
I love a good holiday party! Getting together with friends, an excuse to dress up, charcuterie boards and I don’t know about you but I LOVE a good mulled wine. This weekend, I’ll be attending a little Holiday Soiree in LA. My good friend Alyssa, who I lived with for two years in Japan is throwing a semi-formal party and I’m so excited to be attending… I may even have a cute date for it and maybe we are planning to coordinate outfits…
Spending the Holidays Away from Family - I Got You 😉
My first Christmas away from home, I was 23, living in Japan at the time. It was an opportunity to spend the Holidays in a totally new way. So if you’re finding yourself in a similar circumstance, I wrote this blog for you, and have some pretty awesome suggestions if I don’t say so myself!
My Black Friday Cheat Sheet
If you know me, you know I’m a bargain buster, sale seeker and overall thrifty shopper when I can be. When it comes to Black Friday, I consider myself a bench warmer because I do all my shopping from my couch. I actually think Black Friday and Cyber Monday are the perfect times to fill in the pieces you’ve been needing in your fall/winter wardrobe, and get ahead of your Christmas shopping while simultaneously saving money.
