Dating and Dilemmas with Justin Glaze
Several weeks ago I got a DM from Justin Glaze… but it wasn’t THAT kind of DM. He was in need of a videographer for a project and considering Virginia and Maryland are very close to one another, it was the perfect opportunity for him to hit up the official bachelor nation neighborhood videographer, yours truly… Unless of course Logan Seagull is swooping in for that title. (I get it… he’s cool too) Well I happened to be coming up to DC the very next weekend and we agreed that would be the perfect opportunity for me to pop up into Charm City and make his vision come to life.
On my way from DC to Baltimore we jumped on what was supposed to be a quick call to brainstorm some last minute details for the video project. It was at that moment that I had this great idea to ask Justin if I could request an exchange of services rather than traditional payment for my video services. I had JUST launched my blog and had this crazy idea that we could film a segment for my blog to talk about crazy dating stories or give our takes on the dating dilemmas of my instagram audience. I’ll be honest, this was a very off the cuff and a spur of the moment idea without much planning or production involved. At the end of the conversation, we were both down to make it happen.
Although I have to say, this isn’t the production I am most proud of and my LED lights ran out of battery just before we wrapped up - this was WAY too much fun to not share at least a few snippets of it with you guys! Justin really stole the show in the best way and had me laughing the entire time. We ended up filming this at the bottom of a hotel lobby, there were two guys shooting pool beside us and probably judging us at least just a little for attempting to put on a full production in a public place.
I remember watching Justin on Katie’s season of the Bachelorette and thinking his facial expressions were hysterical and I figured if nothing else, I would have enough material to create another blooper reel of Justin Faces for you guys if the video was a total flop! Thankfully, you guys came through with a ton of topics and questions and we took the rest into our own hands and talked the night away. I found Justin to be entirely genuine, very rational in his advice and experience and incredibly funny. I wish I could share all of the raw footage, so you guys could have the full experience but for times sake, I picked a few moments to share with you all!
All of that being said, I hope you guys enjoy!
