I know that where I spend my money matters. If I spend my money intentionally, it can contribute to making this world a better place. I am so serious when I say people ask me all the time what the secret is to styling my hair. But the truth is, there is no secret! My hair has a mind of its own and I may try something one day and it turns out amazing, I do the same thing another day and it’s a nightmare. For International Womens Day this year, I had the opportunity to sit down and interview the incredibly inspiring Christie Valdiserri, Founder of Baldtourage. Christie started losing her hair in 2017. Since then, she has set out on a mission to normalize bald women & bring awareness to the power & beauty in hair loss. As a young girl, Christie & her friends were called 'The Blondetourage' as she was known for her vibrant blonde hair. So naturally, when she started on her hair loss journey, she now refers to herself and her squad as The Baldtourage.

I had tons of questions flood in about my personal lifestyle choices and how I’ve overcome some of my obstacles with food over the years. I like to believe at my core, I am quite simple and a lot of my lifestyle comes down to convenience and joy. That being said, the hunger for that joy has led me to a wild array of experiences that shape my lifestyle today. It has also led to me being a very busy woman, I think I could be the poster child for “Girl on the Go!” So when it comes to fueling my lifestyle, preparation is key!

As you guys know I spent time in England filming a wedding in January. While I was there I knew I had to create a travel guide of London for you guys! I’ve been once before and I feel like I have the scoop on how to get around and where you should spend your time! London is huge and if you’re spending a few days there, I recommend breaking the city down locationally and spending your days knocking items off your bucket list based on what is in the same area.

Full disclaimer, I fully intended to do a blog post about self-love this week but based on where I am at personally, it turned into something a little more personal. Although my transition to LA has been really fun and has been filled with non-stop catching up with friends, at times it has felt lonely as well. There have been times that I’ve felt a little discouraged about my love life lately. So last night when I sat down to write a little something about self-love for the blog, I actually found myself feeling exhausted, lonely and a little homesick. I put my laptop away and took to journaling instead.

With all the amazing clean beauty posts I keep seeing about recipes, hacks, and essentials I’m feeling super inspired to swap out some of my favorite (but possibly toxic-filled) products to try out some clean beauty products. I took to IG, as my favorite resource for research… I could just google it like a normal person but I trust you guys WAY more than a typical google search.
